DAKboard, Mango Display and Prime Calendar all run on hardware you already have. So the comparison comes down to the plans: what you get, and what it costs each month.

Where Prime Calendar makes more sense

You want the screen to do more than show the calendar: chores that rotate between people, routines, Kid Mode, and tasks and automation behind it all. One Family plan covers the whole household.

Setting up a screen

  1. Open app.primecal.eu/device in the browser of the screen you want to use. It shows a short code.
  2. On your phone, go to Screens, then Devices, then Pair a device, and type the code.
  3. Pick a layout and add what you want on it, for example the calendar, a countdown to an event or routine buttons.

Where DAKboard or Mango is the better pick

If a wall display is all you need, both are simple to start with. DAKboard has a free plan with 1 predefined screen, 2 devices and 2 calendars, and Mango gives you 30 days to try a paid plan.

Do these plans limit the number of screens?

Most do. DAKboard's free plan stops at 1 predefined screen, 2 devices and 2 calendars. For the paid plans, check each vendor's pricing page. Ours are on our pricing page.

Start on Free. When you need more screens, agents or sync accounts, User is the next step.
